Bringing Home a Puppy Should Be Joyful—Not Overwhelming
At Shasta Royal Monroe, we work intentionally with each puppy during their first eight weeks to ensure a smooth, confident transition from our home to yours. But we know that some families prefer to skip the most demanding early weeks and bring home a puppy with a bit more experience.
That’s why we offer our Puppy Kindergarten Program—a 6-week extended training option designed to save you time, reduce stress, and set your puppy up for long-term success.
As a veteran kindergarten teacher turned professional breeder and trainer, I’ve taken the same principles that help young children thrive—routine, positive reinforcement, socialization, and trust—and applied them to raising confident, well-mannered puppies.
Each Puppy in the Program Receives:
-
Crate and potty training
-
Foundational obedience (sit, down, leash walking, name recognition)
-
Daily enrichment and confidence-building
-
Exposure to sights, sounds, and handling in a home environment
-
Socialization with people, kids, and other dogs
-
Preparation for outings and polite public behavior
-
Final evaluation by a certified AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy trainer outside our program

By the time your puppy comes home, they’re already on their way to becoming the calm, confident companion you’ve been dreaming of.
